I hear that "God is always with you", but i also have heard the phrase " god has pulled his spirit from you" or something along those lines.
Can someone explain these?
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. (Eph.1:13-14)
That's the promise of the gospel, there can be times when your not in fellowship, but the promise is that the Holy Spirit will be with you forever:

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you. (John 14:15-17)
Grace and peace,
Mark

Thank you very much that was very helpful. But what does it mean that God cannot be near sin or that he leaves you when you sin? Is that true?

Not too sure about its biblical accurancy of those phrases, but God extend grace and mercy to all despite how they feel about them. However if you do purpose in your heart to not deal with God, God will give you up to whatever sin you're after. But its like a parent.

Parents are always around a child, but sometimes the child is stubborn and needed to experience a fall for them to get not to walk that wrong path again, and the parent sometimes while keeping careful watch allow it. But the parents didn't withdraw their love or care.

At times we fall away, grow cold in our love for Him.

Revelation 2:4-5
But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Psalm 51:10-12 - This is a wonderful prayer

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.

If one confesses and repents, He is right there ready to forgive and to restore.

Where have you heard these sayings?

When people sneaze you hear people saying 'bless you'.
Just because someone says something that has the air of being spiritual about it, doesn't mean you have to pay any attention to it.

I can only give you an example, when Samson cut his hair it says the Spirit left him. Not sure if that extends to New Testament salvation. If you walk accirding to the law if the Spirit you won't gratify the wants of the flesh, see Romans 8 the opening verses. Jesus alao said to obey his xommandment, which comes down to disxiples loving ine another to put it plainly. If your mistreating other believers your not walking after the leading if the Spirit. If you would like a fuller exposition I can so that, it can take some space, vut an important stusy.

Yes, God is always with us, but how well are we with God?

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

Are we with God, in how He personally rules us in His own peace in our hearts? Are we submissive to how God's peace rules us and has us guided by Him, in personal and tender sharing with Him?

In the early scripture we see how Saul went against God and so God removed His Spirit from Saul. But Saul was going against God, anyway; so Saul was not about to do what the Holy Spirit had him doing.

If we commit ourselves to being unforgiving, this can get us away from how God would share with us. Also, arguing and complaining are anti-love; so these also can deeply degrade us from how we could be living in God's love.

Plus, God's love is all-loving; so we share with Him, as much as this love has us being all-loving.

"if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" (in Matthew 5:46)

So, being with God includes sharing with other Jesus family people while we deeply care about even evil people. So, in case you isolate yourself in only being concerned about yourself with God . . . we need to share as family and help one another :)
