I am interested in writing Christian Literature! Where do you guys get your inspiration and ideas?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am last minute stuff
Since I liked this tread better then the other one, I'm going to post here.. Ideas and thoughts come from a host of places; all of which very greatly on what type of writng it is, and what genre ad feel. You may get ideas and inspiration from things around you, events in the news, people in general.. Or it may come along the quiet stream, a soft lit room.. ect.. Wat kind are you looking towards?

Nothing like trying to crank out 50,000 words in a month to get that creativity going... this will be my first year doing it, but my story is based off a Christian RPG right here on CF.

There are lots of online groups for Christian writers!
Check out Kingdom writers, which encourages and allows you to post your work to be critiqued.
Starting with a Bible verse is great-- you can take it and write a devotional piece, a poem, even a story.
You need to start with an idea-- fiction or non-fiction.
For fiction, what genre interests you? Romance? Westerns? Fantasy? Mystery?
Check out Kingdom writers, which encourages and allows you to post your work to be critiqued.
