God will always be with you, my dear. You don't have to be afraid; for the most part atheists and the like don't want to hurt your faith. They're just people. You're going to be fine, but you're also going to meet a lot of non-Christians in your life, so you'd be better off to accept that. As for courage, dear, just pray for it, and for wisdom and love to change what you can, and accept what you can't. God bless you!

I just wanted to let you know that fear is absolutely normal. It shouldn't be. But because of the fall everyone goes through fear of things at one time or another. But I honestly believe that atheists and such are more scared of us then we are of them. We have this HUGE EPIC GOD always with us and they honestly don't have anything 1/1000 of that. They truly have fear. More than I can possibly imagine. It's very sad. Which is why we need to treat them with kindness so that they may come to know Jesus and be saved. Think about how happy they would be and how the fear would be gone.
I hope this helps. :)

Just think about what they can do to you! They might try to prove you wrong - they won't be able to do so. They might offend you for your faith - so what? They might even physically attack you - who cares, then you'll just have proven that you were so right that all they could do was to start a fight... I have a couple of verses for you as well; I hope you'll have some use for them. :) Check out 2 Cor. 4 and Rom. 8:31-39.

I agree with Aino, there's nothing to be afraid of when God is on your side. My Bible teacher is always telling us that you should praise God when you suffer for the sake of Christ. Hang in there, we all can be apprehensive at times when it comes to witnessing, I know I have been and still am a lot of times. But God's there, always has been, always will be.

i was talking with my friend ina chat room (cuz random people join the conversation) and someone tried to cast a spell on me because i started talking about bible bowl (bible quizing)
That guy sounds like an idiot, he can't do anything to you.

Sorry for bumping a week-old topic.

i think that evangelism is not my thing ;) i think ill stick to vbs

That's a kind of evangelism! A person's conversion is continually ongoing, never static. I teach religious education to a group of fifth graders at a church near me, and love helping them understand better the things they already know. It's a very evangelistic thing you're doing!

I used to be afraid of spiders.

until I went to the dominican republic on a missions trip, where a tarantula (i kid you not) at least 6 inches in diameter was next to my bed (unfortunately I didn't get the chance to kill it, but it was killed with my machette) and I had to kill at least 200 spiders over the course of the trip. (not small ones either) one day I got 70 in a day.
