• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I looked up the history of my mum's computer (which the whole family uses sometimes) while I was searching for an Internet site to do with College when I saw that AFF (a sexual match making company) was on the list. I think my dad must have looked it up, and when I further investigated I was horrified to see that he searched around Newcastle. How could he even think about doing that to mum? I am so very annoyed at him right now, I haven't confronted him yet but I can never look at my father the same way again.

Since I have to leave for College, I'll cut to the chase: What do you suggest I do about this?

It would be best to keep him in prayer, and ask God for forgiveness for your anger, your prayers will not be fruitful if you hold unforgiveness, this could also be a snare for you to, be careful. But it would probably be best to speak to him about this, if he is a christian
he knows it is wrong, ask him to speak with a christian friend to keep himself accountable and pray that the Lord will deliver him from temptation.
