I need a prayer

First of all I really appreciate the prayers. For some reason a memory from my past just keeps annoying me. It's like a spirit of distraction. This has bothered me for years and I would like to finally be past it.

The good news is my life has radically changed in the last 10 years. God has been good to me in my life.

This can turn into a win win. We almost never are focusing on the word as we are shown to do in Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1. But those annoying thoughts can be turned to gold as they can be a prompt for you to say Bible verses, with praise, any time they come. You can use scriptures that are particularly pertinent to your issue, or any.

i would say this, though. Have you prayed to ask the Lord if the thoughts are possibly from Him, some kind of reminder of something you need to turn over to Him? Just thought.

I pray that God will cancel the power of this memory from your past and allow you to no longer be harmed by it. I also pray that if any resources like therapy would be helpful that those would be available to you and God would find the right professional for you if applicable.

I really do appreciate the prayers. This Spirit of distraction stuck with me on and off many years. It's actually left completely for a while. Anyway the good news is, even my ex-wife saw the changes in my life. My former pastor even ask her is John's conversion real. Because I had been a ho-hum Christian for many years.

So why God allows this I don't know. My life is clean and nothing is hidden. The way I look at it is these trials and tribulations that made me the best Christian I've ever been. And I do like that.

So please pray for me and I appreciate it thank you, John

I really appreciate the prayers. I get a spiritual attack from my past. I don't like it, but God is in charge. Lamentations 3:21, "This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope". God has removed this in my past, and He will remove it again.
