I name some names of Christian female drummers...

Hello--

My name is Matt and I play piano for my church in Ohio. The reason why I am posting is because there is a teen girl at my church that wants to play the drum set for Praise and Worship. The twist is that her family is very traditional, and in order for her to take lessons, she has to have a role model... a "Christian Female Drummer" role model.

I personally am not into all of today's Christian music... hah, I'm into Oldies... so when I think of 'female drummer', I think of Karen Carpenter! Obviously, if I mentioned that to this family, they'd probably NEVER let her play drums...hah.

So I've already heard that the drummer for Skillet is a female... any others?

Yeah Lori from Skillet would be a great one and Lauren from Barlow Girl. Those are the two that I know & remember for right now.

BTW, what part of Ohio are you from? I'm about 30 miles northwest of Columbus.
