I love You

Heavenly Father, I can not remember the last time I told You that I loved You.

Often I get so caught up in the busyness of my life and the concerns of this world that I fail to stop and tell You I love You.

So here I am, expressing these often-neglected words from the depths of my heart: I LOVE YOU.

I love You, because, before I was even created, You loved me. When I sought to live my life apart from You, Your love remained the same-ever
beckoning me back to You again.

Even when I am unlovely and seemingly unlovable, You continue to love me and accept me because Your compassion never fail. When I am faithless, You promise in Your Word that You remain faithful because You cannot deny Yourself.

I find comfort and security in the fact that there is nothing I can do to make You love me any more or less than You do already.

I love You because You call me friend and demonstrated the full extent of Your love by giving Your only begotten Son, JESUS, to die on a cross for me. Your act of compassion was not intended to separate Yourself from me, but to draw me closer to You.

Your gift of salvation is too great to ever repay, but You didn't stop there. You allowed me to taste of Your sweet love. I have tasted and seen that You are good.

Heavenly Father I declare my undying love for You; I declare "I am my beloved's, and His desire is toward me"(Songs Of Solomon 7:10). Your invitation echoes throughout eternity, calling all people to be one with You. To be enthralled by Your love. To delight in Your love and to take pleasure in Your love forever.

The kind of love shared between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the
love You desire to share with me. I am forever grateful to You for
creating me with the express purpose of pouring Your love into my life.

Your "loving kindness is better than life". Your love gives me life. My
endless pursuit of activity and pleasure are poor substitutes for the
GOD-shaped hole in my soul that only You can fill.

More than showing me love, You are love. You are love not for what You
do, but for who You are. And in response to Your great love, I dedicate
myself to living for You and loving others the way You loved me, with Your amazing help.

Amen! Something we should be doing daily is telling our Lord and Saviour how much we love him, with our words, hearts, and actions. Not only that but we must allow others to see it. It is one of the many ways we bring Glory to His name and bless it.

How much do I love Jesus? There are no words that could ever describe it. He is my everything!

press to be strongly met;

on due days set by greedy man's design
unconcerned with what one goes through
as long as payments are made on time
and I know You knew... these pressures too;

for in fullness of time's date due
requiring payment for sin's bruise
Jesus came forth as living truth,
paying for all man's sins against You.

You incarnated a gift for us;
a body prepared by You,
Your only begotton Son, Jesus
the way, the life and the truth!

God you alone can strengthen me
and satisfy the longing depth
sought when I have a healing need
pressing to be strongly met,

on nights when it's hard to find
restful sleep the night through
and rise to reach work on time
but You knew... these pressures too,

in a garden, awake and alone
as others had no trouble sleeping
as they neared to place you in bonds
to appear before one man's throne,

where You were mocked by vile lips
and pierced with thorns and spit,
stripped to the waist and whipped
while hardy soldiers laughed in jest!

God You alone can ease the pain
and satisfy the longing depth
it seeks, as trouble befalls like rain
pressing to be strongly set

in opposition, reaching to destroy
this precious truth you have employed
in this troubled world of war and hate
where even religious ones debate

among themselves, labeling each other
from group to group, church to church
with whose right, whose wrong, whose strong
whose worthy, whose not..................,

while You are kept hanging on a cross...
hidden from view from all who are lost
when they see how prideful we are
instead of Your scars, suffered for all

whom are unworthy to share in the forgiveness it wrought.
We should be a pure witness of praise
for the simple fact that we are saved
by the great salvation You have brought!
