Has anyone seen this acrostic:

R adical depravity
O vercoming grace
S overiegn election
E ternal life
S ingular redemption

Being new to Calvinism, I of course hadn't, but I'm glad I found it. What are your thoughts on it?

I am in agreement that Radical depravity is a more biblically descriptive term than "Total." However, the "O" just does not do it for me. If the "O" is intended to replace the "I"...it is just too broad. The others I have no problem with.

I guess I'd have to consider for a while why one would feel a need for a new acrostic. TUILP is quite accurate, though needing a little clarification at times, as preservation rather than perseverance, or overcoming grace rather than irrisistible grace. I did find thiis blog on the subject with some questions of its own about the why of another acrostic! I too would like those more theologically qualified to speak to the subject. Interesting.
