Maher just has the freedom to be very colorful because he is on HBO and it is not a public channel. Plus on public television, who can get away with saying people like the Duggars should be on Hoarders.

However, I do give Stewart major props in his debate with O'Reilly.

Absolutely, Stewart does very well with what he has. Maher still seems a bit more in your face than Stewart....regardless of the network limitations on Stewart.

You are right.

Difference being:
When I watched Stewart and O'Reilly would say something he disagreed with, the long..."Well..." Which is both genius but also more 'easier to digest. He could have been mocking O'Reilly as well. I hope he was.

Maher..."Yea and?" with a face like, your point is?
That is just awesome.

I will also say, I like Stewart better than Colbert. Satire only goes so far for me. I like people who can, either not in your face or in your face, be bias towards the things I am biased about.

Yeah, I like Stewart and Colbert. But IMHO Stewart is dead wrong about media bias in general and about FNC in particular.

You are saying that FNC is not biased and right slanted?

Colbert was funny for the first 10 minutes of his first show......with a few brief funny snippet follow ups....but he tries!:yawn1:

Maher reminds me of a slightly calmed down Carlin which I can appreciate.
