... and I cried tears of joy.
For it was the best film, bar Equilibrium, that I have ever seen!
Oh, the portrayals of King Leonidas and Xerxes I were some of the best acting I have had the pleasure of witnessing!
And the battles... they've practically made it an art form!
And the backdrops/scenery that would make any artist weep at his own insignificance.
Not to mention the music was absolutely astonishing and contributed greatly to the atmosphere.
And the dialogue... simply awesome.
This film is too awesome to describe in mere words, but easily described by interpretive dance!
I'm just going to say at this point that if you don't mind the VERY OCCASIONAL ( and I truly mean very occasional) partial nudity of women (as is any depiction of Ancient Greek culture in most media) or the art-like and visually striking but ultimately gory combat as the 300 Spartans make their stand versus a million Persian troops from all corners of the globe... then I would recommend you go see this film as soon as you possibly can.
I somehow doubt you will regret it.
