It says 'life stages' after the forties thing....are we in a 'stage' and didn't know it? Is that like the 'toddler stage'...the terrible twos? the pre-teen years? The (gag) teenage years? Or how about the 'young adult' years?

I would like to know excatly what 'life stage' I am in so I can be sure to act that way...er...whatever it is...

(does this mean I can throw fits and blame it on my age?!) :D :D

Orrrrrrrrrrr be really moody? (mmm I think that comes in the fifties fourm though actually...) :D

Quick someone post the life stage information!

(I know...falling asleep in your chair watching TV??? or is it too soon for that yet? Have to wait for the sixties fourm?) rats...

Life stages huh? Rather than a little red sports car, you could invest in orthopedic slippers and an easy-lift chair. Life's simple pleasures are the best......

that is the 70's fourm...:D (er..hopefully)

TabCat: The Fourties is the "wonderful" stage of life. Hopefully your still healthy enough to enjoy not having to pay a sitter evertime you want to leave the house.

Oh I am healthy enough...but my son is ten next week and would still need a babysitter...lol....but I rarely go out in the evenings anyway...(I am falling asleep at ten...what am I going to do?? :D )

If this is a "stage" then we should perform ;)

I have noticed I'm speaking my mind more than I used to. Case in point, we had an old fart in the hardware store yesterday complaining that he hadn't been charged the correct amount...ON BLACK FRIDAY!! Give me a break! Anyway, I tried to look at his receipt to see what he was talking about and he snatched it back...I calmly said, if you don't want me to help you, why did you come here...and walked away. (p.s. he talked to a manager...heehee)

lol that is funny...now I would possibly said the same thing...ten years ago I would have stifled it and been mad all day. SO I agree...being more open must come with this age....we don't worry so much about what everyone 'thinks' all the time! yea!!!

One of my favorite sayings is, "You wouldn't care near as much about what people think of you, if you realized how seldom they do." So true! And, one I didn't really learn until I entered this apparent "stage" I seem to be coming into. ;)

Little red sports car? ya gotta be nuts to drive it in New York. :pI wish I had something like Harry Potter's broom without being a wizard (hee hee) or those speeders from Return of the Jedi- can you imagine the savings on transit and vacations? probably enough to get that car. Maybe someday when these energy industry dummy research better fuels- but then again if Jesus came before that, we wouldn't have to worry about it!

Yep. We're in the "I remember Disco, but I don't remember where I put my keys" stage of life. :D
