I just figured it out !!

If God wanted us to be gay, he would have only created one sex... and we would all be homosexuals.

Since God created two sexes, and since only a male and female combination and not a same sex combination creates children, then homosexuality is in fact a misfiring mentalism...

From the surface of the eyeball, an image is created in the brain via a chemical reaction, whence it is interpreted. If you have a same sex attraction, also in the mind, then that is a mental misfire.

Good thought, but bad logic. God made two different sexes and many different races, Those are physical characteristics, not misfired mentalisms or lifestyles.

By THAT logic, if God wanted us to be equal, He would've only made one race. Then by this logic:

This means abstinence (which was urged by Paul), infertility and any lifestyles that will not produce children are all "misfiring mentalisms". You also don't touch on the concept that denying your sexuality is a sin. Drop everything and consider for a second that homosexuality is not a sin. Hypothetically speaking, denying you're a homosexual in favor of heterosexuality would be a "misfiring mentalism." By your logic. Or lackthereof.

You can present all kinds of potential scenerios the problem is that homosexuality isn't supported at all in the scriptures. Heterosexuality is clearly part of Gods design, any deviation is a sin.

Wow, you must've really failed history class. And real life. Because skin color is still a factor. Always has been. In the general world, there is discrimination which is just as much a sin as homosexuality. If God wanted homosexuality, he would've only made one gender was his argument. If God wanted no discrimination, he would've only made one race. Even if homosexuality were a sin, his logic still would make no sense.

Hence why I tagged a "hypothetically speaking" onto it, because basically all he's justifying is not to deny your sexuality. Also, you can claim "scripture this scripture that" but since I've already be proven to that the Bible is not 100% infallible, I'm just going to ignore it.

NO because "liberal" has a bunch of other meanings attached to it. Including the defense of homosexuality and sin...which Jesus would never accept. You might be able to say Jesus was a liberal for his time..but that's it.

Jesus never said homosexuality was a sin.

Paul did.

This is the one, MAJOR reason I don't believe it's a sin. Because Jesus covered pretty much everything. But He never once mentioned homosexuality.
