I am done with the darn bar business. I am going to school in the next few weeks but it's going to be 2 years. No MORE.

I love my fellow humans. God said to. I am so done being a bartender. I am done being hit on by old weird people (male). I am finished with rude people that have no idea what is going on! (usually male).

I have gotten scolded (a few weeks ago, Daytona 500) because I mentioned something about God. Ummm, yeah. Me. Used to be the biggest coolest sinner known now I have people telling the Manager that I should not be "discussing religion at work, on or off the clock". Yes. You read that correctly. The Great and Mighty (I don't do pride anymore thank you Lord but back when) E got all hopped up. LOL! Actually I didn't. I did see the gal get all angry at the name of the Lord. I know she loves her trees and all. Its cool. And (OH!) secular! Wow. Angry!

I am glad you got out of there. I left the business I was in too last year. I am now getting a 2 year degree at a local community college. It was the best thing I ever did! Hope you enjoy whatever it is you decided to go for and congrats on doing the right thing!

I forgot to add that one of my instructors said she used to be a bartender before she quit about 3 or 4 years ago and went to school and she is a single mom and she said that she really loves her new profession and teaching. She instructs the internship classes for the program I am attending. I know that with God you will achieve the same level of fulfillment. You just have to go for it!

LOL! I am too old now. My husband (see his picture as my avatar) is in the Air Force, currently deployed.

The majority of Marines I have met here in Japan certainly do not put God first, sadly.

Eeeesh! My Pastor prayed that I could minister to the people that come into my bar. He is right. I am being so selfish! I still hate my job but I will buck up and bless them so help me!

We were discussing Samaria. It's all Samaria now, is it not? Jesus said and did. We do need to go out and minister to sinners (aren't we all!).
