Hi there. I'm Anthony from Texas. I was brought up in the church my entire life, but I almost literally have never paid attention. I'll tune in here and there but it just leaves me with bits and pieces of information with no connection that don't make any sense on their own. I have no idea how to be a Christian at all. I could say I know not to sin or something, but that doesn't really mean I know how to do that. I gotten saved twice, but I don't even know if it counts because I don't lead a very Christian lifestyle. I even live in fear often times that I am an enemy of God and thay I am not saved.. Maybe this forum will help me do a better job.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome to CF, No need to worry. You still have time, my advise is to get to know Jesus. Ask him to help you get understanding and reread the gospels putting yourself in his footsteps. Try to understand why he took every action he took and you will better understand him. This isn't a journey just based on rules, this is a relational journey and Jesus wants you get to know him.
