I have a strange question...

Can demons read our minds?
It sounds funny that one would ask such a thing, but I really need to know. It's sort of urgent.

No that is one thing i can tell you i know for fact. Only God can read our minds he does not allow demons to be bale to do this, they can only influence you on the actions you make.

If a person were posessed by a demon I would guess they could read their mind. Like how in the new testament there were demon posessed people who would throw themselves into a fire, etc., etc. --- Their mind was being controlled by a demon, so it would stand to reason the entity was aware of what was going on in their host.

That was a question I really had to think about.
There is one thing I can tell you, from my very reliable resource, Demons cannot read your mind.
So not to worry, as long as you are with Jesus Christ, your in the winning race!!

Demons are not mind readers, they can only work with our spoken words. So we should watch what we say. They can also work by our actions-have you heard the saying that actions speak louder than words. So even though demons can't read our thoughts they can influence our thoughts by what we see and what we do and also our surroundings(environments and the company we keep) Our minds are like bank vaults they keep all the treasure of spoken words but we are the only ones that can make a withdrawal. So demons are only capable to move if we let them out of the prison of our minds. That's why we should keep our minds in perfect peace that is stayed on the Lord.

i dont think they can read our minds, but they are very very crafty and have ways of influencing other things to tempt us into sin. Eh, just my two cents.

The scripture is silent on this issue. To my thinking, the issue of authority is relevant though. Whether or not the supernatural power to read thoughts exists outside of God himself I am not certain. But one thing is clear in the scripture which is that we are given authority and responsibility over our thought life.
The devil and his demons are limited in their power. Therefore, they cannot know our thoughts in the same way that God does. In fact according to the scripture, God knows our hearts and minds better than we know ourselves. God willingly allows us to deceive ourselves if we choose. But the final decision is up to us.
As far as the devil knowing what we are up to. I am sure that there are hordes of demon spirits and that the devils kingdom is quite organized. So whether or not they can read minds , my guess is that they are quite well informed as to opportunities to mess with us.
