The good news is that we have already been forgiven, once for all.
For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;
(1Pe 3:18)
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
(Eph 4:32)
Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey; whether it is of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness. But thanks be to our God that you were the slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. Then being made free from sin, you became the slaves of righteousness.
(Rom 6:16-18)
I know we are taught that some sin's are worse than others, but all sin is sin before God.
But now a righteousness of God has been revealed apart from Law, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ, toward all and upon all those who believe. For there is no difference, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;
(Rom 3:21-24)
The good news is we are justified through Christ.
Try to focus less on the sin, and more on our beloved Father. When the perfect comes, the imperfect disappears. His glorious presence will fill you up, giving you no room to sin. As soon as we focus on other thigns we loose sight of Him. God will lead your path.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.
(Mat 5:14-16)
Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
(Joh 8:12)
