  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a message to share!

My debts weren't forgiven in 2001 or 2008. In the 2008 "Shemitah", I lost 30% of my 401k and 25% of my home's value, was forced to take a pay cut, and did not receive another raise for 4 years afterward. But, the debts and inflation carried on as if nothing happened.

It's not about financial debts, but our sinful debts.
Jesus did not care for the earthy treasure, but the treasures we store in heaven.

The OT foreshadowed our King, coming as a ransom for us, of course you know that.

Jesus does not wait for a Shemitah to forgive our debts.

I did not mean to imply Jesus waited for the shemitah to forgive our sinful debts, anyone who is truly a Christian knows that our debt was paid in full on Passover, on the first month in Hebrew calendar. It should be the main hold on every Christian's heart. Evidently, Jesus was not crucified on the 29th of Elul.

However, I did mean the aspect of forgiveness on the last day of the seventh year in the Hebrew calendar also known as a shemitah is a foreshadowing of forgiveness.

As touching on the teachings or doctrine that you say Cahn's trying bring people under, I am not familiar with. Possibly because I have not watch many of his sermons, or read any of his books -- I only know about this Shemitah mystery, because of a show I watched on TBN. Every Christian should be aware that we are saved through faith in the Son of God, being under grace, and cannot be justified through the Law.

The point I was trying to make is that prophecy is being fulfilled.
Whether people want to argue about Cahn's teaching, that another topic, but there is no denying that every 29th of Elul of these last two Shemitah years something Biblical has occured. Whether it does make an impact on our own personal finances, we should not be hindered by the fact and keep on holding to our true treasure in heaven! :D

God bless! :)

What is the prophecy? The Shemitah is supposed to be a good thing, yet Cahn says that two very bad things happened on the last two. I guess he thinks the next one will be the mother of all bad things since it follows the four blood moons.

Bad things follow failure to follow prophetic orders. What were the orders, according to Cahn?

Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more.
Same thing can be said when bad things happen, good things will abound even more.
That should also be at the core of every Christian's heart.

This is the year of Jubilee, as we reach the ending of this year.
The year of release good things actually do occur.
Considering man can't know whether what is ahead, the message was supposed to be be ready and be encouraged. I have hopes the Lord will come soon.
When? Only the Father knows, but I wanted to be sure to share what I felt was important to wake up those who are falling asleep and backsliding.

This post was supposed to be an encouraging one, not to be evil spoken of.
So there will not be any offenses, I will not respond anymore. Unless of course it's another legitimate question.

God bless! :)
