A place I had sent a resume to months ago finally called me back today. I had given up on them because I had gone through so much trouble to get the resume to them. I first tried to send the resume through email and their email was messed up. Then I tried to fax it and the fax number in the ad was wrong. Finally I called them and the lady I talked to was sure the email address should work. So I tried email once more and that went through. But that was maybe three months ago so I thought there was no chance. But this morning right after I had a near anxiety attack from a nasty email my boss sent, I got a call from the place. I set up an interview for this week.
The interview went INCREDIBLY well. They made me an offer at the end of the interview. I've never had that happen before. It's always been "We'll call you later", whether they actually call or not. They're going to pay me $5,000 more than what I'm making now for the first 90 days. After that I might get more depending on my evaluation.
