I would like to point out that your opinions of condemnation and hell don't really have an impact on the likelihood of God's existence.

Really, the only thing that affects the likelihood of God's existence is the empirical evidence for or against him. To clarify: You might not like the idea of hell. But whether or not you approve has no impact on whether or not God and Jesus are the way.

But there are philosophical arguments that can be made. If God is all powerful and loving, why would hell exist?
It's important to remember that God doesn't create evil.

When I was 20, I was kind of in a similar spot. But I haven't really heard any new arguments since then. And like others have said, don't trust a gut feeling. Trust the scripture. And trust the reality you observe around you. If you pray, trust God.

take it for what you will this has been torturing me for almost two months now and there is no stop foreseeable. Basically, I have trusted my gut for the past 3 years and it acted like the voice of God telling me what was right and wrong and what will happen in the future. But lately I was thinking about hell and fate, and it gave answers that will not go away, keep reoccurring every 5 minutes to torture me and so on. It barely goes away when I pray it to go away, and it tells me God loves me and so on so how can it be Satan? I've gone to two people both former pastors about it and they never tell me anything. The sheer fact it keeps telling me I'm going to hell makes me want to be an atheist so I can at least not believe what it says. please help no one has been able to give me answers.

Please watch this, it may help you:

hi dylan. if i may, i have advice as as unchristian and you could have it if you want.-find whatever coping mechanisms you can if you want but don't hurt anyone else doing it, you know?...i hope you 'like to cope.' fight to find solutions without hurting anyone else. find friends that stand beside you truly. keep christian teachings close at heart since you are christian. remember lessons of all kinds to help you. but if you wanna keep to christ's teaching only, go ahead. good friends will keep the walk of life better. no need for any kind problems but there are in life, you know? remember, we're all gonna help if we can. try not to be dismissive of signs that can help you but be aware. if you ever find a way to stave off these voices, then do it and keep up with it.

if your truth is of christianity, stick with it, you know?...just be comfortable with yourself. finding honest help is rare these days but we will try to help you...i do hope you'll be well...
perhaps find places of sanctuary where you can find comfortability. it's always good to have a place of peace and quiet which works. i hope you make good on your effort for coping mechanisms. we all have a choice, you just gotta step back and go to the drawing board.

just don't go looking for things that make you uncomfortable. it's good to use your insight. if you need someone to listen, we're here to listen. hopefully if god is real, he'll protect you.

with faith and purpose, you can accomplish anything. you find purpose in god and that's cool. i mean you never know what you're made of of coping mechanisms so try it out so long as you don't hurt yourself or anyone else...

thanks for all the prayers.. it really does help :)
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.

Beyond the "don't listen to your gut/flesh" advice, I'd encourage to focus on trusting God for answers even if they don't come right away, and to look for the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and cultivate that part of yourself more.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns with us. I’m truly sorry for what you are going through. It seems that you are experimenting a spiritual battle. Definitely you are a child of God. And God according to the Sacred Word is slow to anger and rich in kindness. God wills that all be saved. That’s why He sent us his only one Son, Jesus to die on the cross for us, overcome dead and sin. He paid with his Precious Blood for all the sins of mankind and gave us eternal life. God gives us free will, and his expecting our answer to be with him. There’s a quote that is says: God creates you without your consent but He can’t save you without your consent” (Saint Augustine). Despite the torment that you are enduring, I encourage you to be in attitude of prayer, if you like open your Bible and tell God in prayer that wish you repent for all your sins and you want to make the decision for Him and some day you can join him to his Church and for eternal life. Have you ever thought to seek a holy pastor who lives the faith for spiritual guidance? Have you thought to discover who defeated Satan and why he died on the cross to save us? Let me tell you, my friend that you are not alone in this battle. Do you have doubts about Jesus Christ and His love for you? Is there something that you sense that makes you feel condemned because of your past? I hope this will enlighten you. Have no fear!! God loves you, even if you feel this way. God calls you by your name, the evil one calls you by your sins. God knows what you are doing and what you are thinking, but the evil one wants you to feel condemned as the way you are describing. Definitely these thoughts come from the enemy that wants to defeat you. But you can take authority and binding in Jesus Name. I will give you an example. I knew someone who, as a younger adult kept hearing blasphemous phrases at random. Not knowing what to do, he told his mother about it and then she prayed special prayers to cast out the demon(s) that were torturing his mind. The prayers seemed to have worked. I will leave this ‘Binding Prayer’ that you can stop those thoughts torturing and send them at the feet of the cross of Jesus. This is the way that the prayer is: Spirit of “mention the name of the spirit, for ex: Fear, anxiety, discouragement, and any other spirit that is interfering with my soul., I bind you in the Name of Jesus, by the power of the most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ and by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Michael the Archangel, the blessed Apostles, Peter and Paul and all of the saints, and I command you to leave N. (Name of person or object)(in this case you say your name) and go to the foot of the Holy Cross to receive your sentence, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Please let me share with you this powerful Psalm that I encourage you to read if you like: Psalm 27

The LORD is my light and my salvation;

whom should I fear?

The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?

2 When evildoers come at me

to devour my flesh, These my enemies and foes themselves stumble and fall.

3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart does not fear; Though war be waged against me, even then do I trust.

II

4 One thing I ask of the LORD; this I seek:

To dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life,

To gaze on the LORD’s beauty, to visit his temple.

5For God will hide me in his shelter

in time of trouble, He will conceal me in the cover of his tent; and set me high upon a rock.

6Even now my head is held high above my enemies on every side!

I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;

I will sing and chant praise to the LORD.

B

I

7Hear my voice, LORD, when I call; have mercy on me and answer me.

8“Come,” says my heart, “seek his face”;* your face, LORD, do I seek!

9Do not hide your face from me; do not repel your servant in anger.

You are my salvation; do not cast me off; do not forsake me, God my savior!

10Even if my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me in.

II

11LORD, show me your way; lead me on a level path

because of my enemies.

12Do not abandon me to the desire of my foes; malicious and lying witnesses have risen against me.

13I believe I shall see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living.

14Wait for the LORD, take courage; be stouthearted, wait for the LORD!

I hope this helps. Sending you hugs. I will keep you in my prayers my Brother in Jesus Christ!

thank God im not, that would be the almost as bad or worse
So these are thoughts that can be cast out. I heard an awesome portion recently about casting down thoughts that enter our minds, that in the Greek texts of scripture this is not merely casting them down immediately upon receiving them but also as if to crush a snake by the neck ( behind the head). Do it in the name of Jesus, always bring Jesus into this.

Crazy thoughts will always enter our minds whether we generate them or the enemy sends in a fiery dart of false information, we don't have to process it, consider it , entertain it or accept it. We just immediately cast it down.

Does that make sense to you ?

Dylan, we all have purpose, either to do good or evil, & God controls it all. "I form the Light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I, the Lord, do all things." Isaiah 45:7. Most pastors out there in the world today won't tell you the hard truths of reality like that. Most have sold out to appeasing the world, which profits nothing & noone. The world is under a delusion of vanity & vexation that God put on it because of selfish idolatry & the refusal of the truth. "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie..." 2 Thess 2:11..Dylan, it's good you have a gut feeling that you are going to Hell. Without the Ransom, we all die & face judgement, & our condemnation is just. Humanity tells itself comforting lies in order to drown out the affliction of the hard truths, & the crossroads they avoid are calling out to them as the Narrow Way. Don't believe the lies. Noone can simply say a sinner's prayer & be saved. Everyone is dead in their sins. A dead thing cannot choose to reach up into Heaven & grasp the grace of God & apply it to itself. That's impossible. But what is impossible with man, is possible with God. God is the author & quickening power of salvation, from beginning to end. Fear the Lord, Dylan. Pray that God will have mercy on you & open your eyes to the truth of the salvation found in what Christ accomplished through His life & death for His sheep.
