Ok,
so, a few months ago, I tried getting a hold of my old high school teacher bc i usually go to him for advice and what not and bc i look up to him and know he will do his best to steer me in the right direction. About a month ago, i contacted a "kid" from my class who now works at the school and asked him if there was any way he could get a hold of this teacher for me and tell me i really needed to talk to him and he actually did that for me.
The teacher emailed me that same day and he gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him when i got the chance and if he didn't answer to leave a message.
So, the following day after I had gotten out of work, I had enough time so I called him. Had to leave a message on his phone since he didn't pick up and was probably teaching a class. So, I Expected him to give me a call back the following day since it was a Friday but, friday came and went.
I waited an entire week and called again. This time, I didn't leave a message but i knew my number would show up on his phone.
My question is, should i still try and call him again or leave him be since he's extremely busy dealing w/ end of school exams/papers and what not, plus he works a 2nd job and is married w/ 4 kids.
I had wanted to speak to him bc 1. he's a Christian, 2. a few things going on that i really only want to speak to him about and 3. I trust him more then anyone else.
I'm just wondering if my initial voicemail that i left on his phone scared him off. All i said was, "Hi mr. l, thanks for emailing me and giving me your phone number. I appreciate it". I told him, if he wanted to call me back, that day i was only free til 3 but the following day i was free all day. I told him again thank you though.
I'm so back and forth if i should try calling him a 3rd time or just leave it be and try to figure this stuff out by myself instead. I've been wanting to talk to this teacher the last 6 months. And just a few days ago, i emailed him at his school email address telling him 1 of the things that was bothering me.
