  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a domain...and lots of questions.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

I have cPanel.

I want to add an add on domain to my existing one. How should I go about doing this? I don't want it to be a subdomain. Do I need to register a new one with something like register.com first, or can I do that through cPanel?

After that, I want to add wordpress to the add on domain, and I want to set up email for the first domain.

After that, I need to know how to install wordpress templates and things. I know it essentially involves uploading files to the server, but past that...I have no idea. Does it change because it's an add on domain?

This kind of stuff makes me feel real stupid. lol :o

in my circles, we have a saying. it goes like this, "google is your friend."

in essence, google a bit before asking people. more often than not, you'll find a whole lot of people who have already asked the questions you're asking, and have either figured out what they needed to do, or have been told.
