I Have A Confession To Make!

To my shame I have to admit that at one time I was pretty prejudiced against homosexuals! However, one night, a few years ago, I had a dream and I was being strongly urged by my 'divine spark' aka God, to stand beside them when they were being torn apart by the rabid fundies or anyone else!!! I remember arguing that I was happy to stand up for anyone but homosexuals. However, getting to know some gay men I realise that they don't have two heads and have a perfect right to love one another, just as us heteros do! I have created a piece of artwork for Christian Gays.

I want to publically apologise for having been less than gracious about homosexuals in the past. Nowadays I would fight with my dying breath for your right to be in the skin you are in.

I know many, many who are either fine with it or tolerant.. But I also know several who aren't. I actually am convinced that once our generation makes it into politics, gay marriage may be legal.

I was quite prejudiced myself. I think it was mainly because I only ever heard negative things about gays, plus you know what they say about homophobia and latent homosexuality.

Now I'm more enlightened and much more happier within myself.
