If all you're hearing of CCM is what's on your local CCM radio station, try some of these artists, maybe you'll change your mind.

Well, it's all pretty generic. Same 3 chords, boring guitar/keyboard riffs, Dr Seuss-esque rhymes, etc.
Okay, I don't like it, but I don't really hate it, either. I really started this thread because I see people here post that they don't like CCM, and they always get jumped on. It's really not that big a deal, to each is own. That's why there's so many genres of music.

No offense, but I am just wondering why you'd come to the CCM forum if you don't like CCM? LOL
Also, I don't know how you find your CCM but there is so much more than the same 20 songs they play on the radio on a loop. Delve deeper and maybe you'll find something you like more. If you don't like it that is okay too. To each their own. I don't know why someone would be mad because someone else doesn't like the same music as they do.

Sounds like CCM. There are many different flavors of CCM. Michael W. Smith and Mortification don't sound much alike, yet they are both CCM.

Most of the stuff they play on the radio is pretty boring. I guess the good news is if you like one song, you'll like every song from maybe fifty different artists, because they're so similiar.

Well the radio (in the last decade at least) has been churning out weak music so that wouldn't surprise me.
Huh, could have sworn Three Days Grace was a secular band.
I'm sure not all CCM is bad, but you're welcome to your opinion.

You were probably thinking of Third Day. I don't care for that band myself. They sound too much like Hootie and the Blowfish.
