I had the weirdest dream

The other night i had this dream:


Me and a bunch of other people were in this building with 2 rooms. At the front of the first room there was a cross with a mangles corpse/skeleton on it that was supposed to be Jesus. Well, then there was this evil voice that said "Look at your God now!"

Everybody started to freak out then when i looked back at the cross there was a big beast, hellish, demonish, monster that was were the cross was. It/he was shooting stuff out of his mouth that basically paralyzed people so i started praying. I said "Lord, just bless all those who are here and keep us all safe and just show us a sign that you are still here"

Now here is the weird part......right after i said that prayer, i woke up from my phone ringing. My ring tone is "Holy is the Lord, God almighty, the earth is filled with his glory"

So i guess what im saying, do you guys think you can get attacked by satan in dreams? Or that God can speak to you? I sure do. Discuss.

I don't think you can get attacked as in physically by a dream, but i believe we can have dreams that are in the spiritual rhelm, and dreams from God.

Yes, you can be attacked in your sleep, even awake, the devil is strong, but God is Almighty!

I believe that God will protect you in your sleep. You don't need to worry about "getting attacked". If you have this kind of fear, then that is not good. But dreams are scriptural, and they are always from God. I guess the question can be if this was just your mind acting this out or if God was giving you a dream. Ask Him to show you if this is something you need or to give you understanding.

YES, I BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE THE DEVIL CAN INFLUENCE YOUR THOUGHT PATTERN DURING THE DAY WHICH CAN CAUSE YOU TO DREAM DREAMS....


BUT GOD CAN DO ANYTHING...I HAVE HAD MANY SPIRITUAL DREAMS...WHERE THERE WAS A PHYSICAL DEVIL...YET GOD HAD A LESSON FOR ME IN EACH OF THEM...SO I KOW IT WAS FROM GOD.

IF GOD REMAINS THE VICTOR IN YOUR DREAMS, THEN I WOULD ASK HIM TO SHOW YOU WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO SEE FROM IT.

IF NOT THEN I WOULD PRAY GOD, TO STOP THEM.

I've had some pretty spooky dreams.

When I was a much younger man (maybe 16 or 17) I dreamed that I was in a huge cathedral-like church. It was dark inside, lit only by hundreds of candles. The place looked like a Catholic church (which was odd, as I am not now nor have I ever been Catholic) and there was an old, blind priest there beside me. He was telling me something. I don't remember what, but I have the feeling it was important. But I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying because I was staring at a goat which was at the entrance to the building, just inside the great double doors.

The dream really bothered me for a long time. Years. But I finally discounted it as anything more than a bad dream. Maybe I watched a horror film or something the night before. I used to love horror films.

Anyway, I do not believe that a Christian can be harmed by Satan in their sleep, or even while waking. Christ is our defender.

I don't think that Satan can "harm" you in your dreams, but hey... he can definately influence them.

I do believe we can do spiritual battle in our dreams and experience victory, We know God speaks to us in our dreams, not just through expereince but in biblical account. Can the devil attack you....probably so....no I dont think he can physically hurt you. but have you ever had an awful demonic type dream, you woke up and you were upset and stressed and had no peace. That was most likely an attack of sorts....do we need to fear him, Know God is Almighty and gives us the victory!!!!

i believe satan is "attacking" (influencing) us all the time. when we sleep or subconcious takes over which (i believe) makes our minds more vurnerable (cruddy spelling) to satan but i dont believe he can actaully harm you spiritually. it just means hes there.

your flesh is one of satan's devices. and your flesh is not the only thing that influences you in the world. and it sounds to me! i'm not blaming an outside force. we can chose whether or not to listen, but the fact is that satan's influences are still there.
