I get scared easy...

I can't stand watching movies, even just adventure/action movies. I get scared. If there's any guns or violence I get really scared inside. I'm 42 years old, and I thought these things would have gone away by now. Is it possible I have forgotten a traumatic experience in my past that is scaring me?

It's just possible that you don't like watching that kind of movie. Nothing wrong with that, it shows your senses haven't been seared by the overload of violence in most movies these days. Personally, I'm far more frightened by the guys who can watch mayhem and say "AWwww, COOOOLLLL!" while watching half a town get blown up.

I think we are living in a more violent and hate-filled world, where people might kill you for very little reason (road rage, for example). Satan is busy, I believe, causing more violence, immorality, greed, permissive societies, and people minimizing the Bible and distorting it to please man's interests, etc.

Well, I know my Lord will come soon to take His Bride, and that includes me. I can be happy when I remember that promise. Look up always!

I know there are some things I can't watch, because they are of the world. I mean, I am able to watch them so I should say I "won't" or chose not to watch. When I focus on God's Word, which I do more and more these days, my fears just vanish, I don't know how He does that, but He does

I don't have any answers about medical conditions, I just know what I do in my circumstances, and I know mine are not yours, I am not in your shoes. But we both have Jesus, so we can both call on Him to guide us into whatever we may need God bless you

Violence makes me queasy. I can't watch it on TV at all. I don't think it's a sign of 'strength' or 'courage' that someone enjoys watching violence for sport.
