I feel like a failure.

I ruined my progress. I cut today. After 45 days, I am now back at day 0. When is this going to get easier? I'm so mad at myself.

Aww sweetie, don't get mad at yourself - it makes you wanna do it more!! You're not a failure for going backwards a little bit, we all make mistakes. Just realise that it's only 1 step backwards from the 45 that you already made!!! This does not make you a bad person - it makes you someone who knows she has a problem, you realised that, you know that cutting is not a good thing. You just have to keep on going, you can do this - and your 45 days proofs that it is getting easier!!!

please don't get mad at yourself. tomorrow is a new day...look forward to that. put today behind you completely. if you get worked up about what you did, it'll be hard for you to move on. if you've asked forgiveness, God has forgiven you. he loves you sooo much!! don't let this drag you down. walk on with a stronger desire to be better. tomorrow, this day will be in your past...gone forever. don't waste your time thinking about it and dwelling on it. it's not worth it at all! what good will come of it?...NOTHING! so, it's ok!! don't be so hard on yourself.

This is what I did when I first stopped. If I made it 45 days before I cut again...then my goal to count to was now 46 days. Once I passed my goal and cut again, I made the goal higher. That went on and on and on....until now, I am almost 2 years free of cutting. I wish I could say it got easier. It did some a guess. I can rationalize better. Like "why am I wanting to cut? It won't really solve anything". But I still have strong urges that I have to fight. I'm praying for you sweetie...love you JO

making a mistake doesn't send you backwards in your progress. you have come along ways. i am still very proud of you. let this make your determination stronger.
