I'm at a really dark place in my life. I feel like I'm absolutely alone in the world and the emptiness is starting to eat me alive. I really feel like existence is pretty meaningless for me in the grand scheme of things, I'm going through a spiritual fight inside and struggling with issues with forgiveness from God and forgiveness of myself. I'm in a very rural area and basically working a dead end job to just survive. No family, nothing.

Just please keep me in your prayers. Catholic, protestant, any believer. I could just really use your prayers.

Jeremiah, Know that Your sins are forgiven it is why Jesus came, He paid the price of sin for us so we can attain eternal Life. Jesus is the only way to eternal life and he wants all of us to live according to his teachings, in essence to Love God with all our heart and to Love our neighbours, these are in essence the commandments he was teaching.
When Jesus healed he usually said, Go and sin no more, he asks us to sin no more, it is a process but as you get closer to God/Jesus it will become a part of your life where you will not want to sin.
Remember Jesus said ;

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

If Jesus forgave our sins, you can also forgive yourself.

Stay strong brother, I come on this forum almost everyday, I am here for you.

I'm praying for you Jimmy.

Struggling with purpose I understand well, struggling with forgiveness too.

With forgiveness we have to trust in God. Just hand it over and keep handing it over until it's absolutely trust in God alone that causes you to forgive.

When we forgive we are allowing God to do the work in that person's life that is His and His alone, whether to save or to judge. This hurt and pain, this sense of self righteousness and righteous indignation, you have to give all that to Him. Let that be a dish served in His perfect righteousness.

We do this because Christ forgave us, saved us from the just judgment of God, and we should want that same change in personhood for those who wronged us, because then we wouldn't be enemies anymore. 1 Corinthians 6:11

But if it's judgement for someone; that's on God as well and His to dish out.

This forgiveness is something separate from someone having to answer for their sin before man for the safety of society or etc.

God has instituted a system of justice for evildoers in society (Romans 13:4) that some will still have to answer to here in this fallen world, even if God forgives them of their sins too.

God is God and His justice is actually just Deuteronomy 32:4 Psalm 89:14 and all serves to Glorify Him and His Holy Name.

Really glad you reached out for prayer.

We - and I do mean we - have to get our thinking in line with Scripture. God will help us renew our minds. The Holy Soirit guides us to truth (John 16:13). Our part is to take every thought captive (II Cor 10:5). That means when we have thoughts that are not in line with Scripture, we immediately focus on Him and His Word, the truth, such as
-The spirit of God made you, and His breath gives you life. Job 33:4
-"The Lord your God is in the midst of you and He is mighty; He saves, He rejoices over you with joy; He will joy over you with singing." Zep 3:17.
Encourage you to locate some favorite Scriptures and SAY them when when thoughts go off track.. Repeat this process as neccessary.
You may be wondering why SAY them because our words need to line up with Scripture.

Repent to Him about having unforgiveness & asks Him to bless them. That hurt needs to be healed. Asks Him for complete healing in the name of Jesus.

Also, we put on Mighty God's armor. "Put on the whole armour of God...." "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God..." We need every piece of His armor including prayer (Eph 6:10-18). Encourage you to ramp up praising and thanking Him. Can always put on select music to help.

Glad you realize that God is the answer. We're lifting you up in prayer to Him.
