CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I/m very hurt and confused today. Can you help me? My problem at hand is that the guy that I love and I have taken a break. I've liked him for a year but was so scared of rejection that I never said anything. I think God gave me an opportunity a few months ago to say something and I didn't take it so I think im here now learning the hard way. My mom, sister, therapist, and friend all God fearing people encouraged me not to cut him off but to tell him how i feel and be honest. I was ready to walk away for good but they told me not to. I think this was a sign from God. I hear messages from them relating to my situation every now and again. My own sister and parents broke up before getting engaged. I see his name and things relating to him everywhere. However, now I havent heard from him in a few weeks. I know he's busy working on applications for med school but i think Im ready to open up. Should I contact him? Im not sure if i should be waiting on God or if God is waiting on me to reach out. I feel quite lost. Could you help me?

I can’t wait to sew linens for the bedroom, bath and kitchen! Someone shared a great linen fabric site and I’ve been gathering dimensions for everything imaginable.
