  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can't stand the suspense...

This is driving me crazy. The election is tomorrow but it might as well have been all weekend. They might as well just knock me out until they decide a winner. Never have the stakes been so high and the race so close. I can't take this. Does anyone else feel their stomach drop everytime they think about it?

Maybe its just because I've put so much time into this campaign and that's the reason why. Well, its all up to the Lord now. :crossrc:

I know what you mean. I have been sick over it too. Quite honestly, I'm sort of setting myself up for disappointment. I keep trying to convince myself that Kerry will win, which upsets me. I will be heartbroken if he wins, just thinking about how low our morals are already, and thinking about all the lives at stake concerning the unborn. This election is very important concerning the Supreme Court. There are 4 who may retire in the next 4 years, 1 who's health has been failing, and 3 who have cancer. So it is extremely likely that the president will be appointing to the Supreme Court. And John Kerry has stated that he will only appoint someone who is Pro-choice. I'm just very sick over it. I agree, prayer is all we can do now.

Am I the only one here who finds the whole thing exciting? :)

Fifty years into the future they'll be showing this election and the 2000 election on the history channel saying how they were the closest Presidential races ever. You'll be able to smile and say "I was there; I took part in that election."

Has anyone else heard about the deal if the Red Skins lose their last home game that means the challenger wins the election? Something like 7 decades this has decided the winner. That mans Kerry's going to win because the Red Skins lost.
Yes, I too have heard this. IF that is the case then Kerry is going to lose because my Vikings lost yesterday too :amen: for a kerry loss, but a  for the Vikqueens.

Whatever, this is ridiculous. I just want it all to stop. I have seen first hand working these candidate visits is getting old. After tomorrow it is all over.

I just pray to God that the man currently in office who has a conviction and a belief in God is re-elected. If the alternative wins, well God Bless all of us :sigh:

I enjoy the campaign and everything, its just here right now and I can't take not knowing. Its like standing on the edge of something I can't stop. Its horrible. Yes, its exciting, but gut wrenching at the same time.

Up until now I've loved every minute of the commercials, the ads, going door to door, the rallies, everything. But after I vote tomorrow, knock me out with some heavy sleeping pills until Wed. morning because I'm going to go crazy!

I'm fearful that as of tomorrow night, we might not even know who are President will be.
It should be mandatory to show your I.D. in order to vote!! What is so hard about that? It would clear up most of the claims of voter fraud right there. No I.D. - No vote!
