I have some friends who are not Christians...and I cant get the thought of something happening to them, and them not going to heaven out of my head...I love my friends and I cant picture myself enjoying heaven knowing my friends are someplace else...It rips my heart apart  . I know it just encurages me to be a better Christian around them to try and set a good example...but I dont know if its going to be enough. I prayed to God last night and asked him why he wouldnt bring my friends to him...I know he heard me and is going to do something...I just hope my friends listen to him...I dont know what else to do. :(

You've probably heard this before, but...

"An orange doest have to try to be an orange. It just IS an orange by its makeup. You can tell just by looking at it."

Dont stress about doing enough personally to get your friends saved. Just being yourself as a Christian, as you walk with Him, will be enough of a witness for them.

God wants all men to be saved. Its scriptural. Its not God that is holding them back.
Theres a verse somwhere [i cant remember where it is right now :) ] but it says God actually sits there and devises ways of bringing us closer to Him. He loves your friends with a passion.

Just sit tight, and have faith in God. He's in control, remember, not us.

Youve got a great heart, tho. A heart after the desires of God's own heart. Well done.

I agree with aVb, you just have to sit tight and have faith, but you also have to be willing when he tells you to do something, just listen for his voice and keep praying! Your friends are very lucky to have a friend that cares about their eternal salvation so much! Well done

hi rokedwin, don't forget that God loves you as much as He loves them. This means that He's interested in your spiritual growth too and this might just be one way you can grow spiritually-by persevering to pray for them.

"Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. " James 1:4b

So use the opportunity God has given you to grow in your own personal faith. The rest will fall in place.

I think one of the best ways to get someone to accept Christ is to live by example. I know it worked for me... My friends used to take me along to this college worship on Thursdays. I went for the social reason only back then, but after a couple times the messages started to hit home. I say keep living an example and invite them to church, prayer nights, etc... God will work His miracles on them, just keep praying
