I Can Only Imagine

hehehe making money off religion has been going on for ages. whats even more sad than people trying to do this: is how no one even notices!

I think I should write my own version-- only instead of it being like "I can only imagine... what heaven will be like", my variation will be more... along the lines as: "I can only imagine... what our life would be like here if we actually followed Christs teachings" You know, making this as close to heaven as possible.

It's true though. Sometimes Christians could really get so caught up in the world they forget what worship is about. I mean all these CDs, Man, <sighs> What good is it if we are not in the right heart.

I can't wait till the church starts acting like the church of Jesus Christ. Honestly, I just can't wait till Jesus comes back for us. To be able to be in the light of his glory. MAN. I can't wait.

I like many others cry like a baby when I hear this song. It's my very favorite song and I think it is a very annointed song to have the effect it has on people. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who cries like a baby when I hear it. I have it on CD and love to listen to it. My tears are not of sorrow but of unbelievable joy.

I've only heard the song a few times, and at the risk of being unpopular here, I'm going to have to say I don't care much for it. It's is a pretty song. But I don't think it's very worshipful. It wasn't until they sang the name Jesus that I realized that this was a worship song. I thought it was a love ballad the guy was singing to his wife or girlfriend. I don't believe that songs that ambiguous are pleasing to God.

Please don't get offended by this post. It's just my opinion.

I love this song to I have it on a few Cds and it is very uplifting and makes you think of how wonderful it will be when we finally get to that wonderful place beside Him.

I love this song, I bought it in April, it was the first CD I bought in almost 3 years, now I can't stop. It is a wonderful song, it was on the playlist at the Krispy Kreme that I used to work at. It was the most uplifting point of my day often, and rightfully so, it is such a great song. It is number one in my book.

I think Jesus would rather have our prayers more centered around the world in which we live in now. You know why? Because after we die; there will be no going back- so whats the point about wondering what it'll be like?

It's a great song - It made me think of something I never before thought of... What will I do when I get to Heaven... the song points some things out that make sense - I'm not sure what I will do when I see my Jesus, but the important thing is that he's building a room in His house for me

For others who've lost family members like myself (my father), it gives me a sense of joy and helps me remember that there will be a day when we will see each other in heaven. Makes me smile.

This song was played at the funeral of two of my friends, a Christian couple who very unexpectedly lost their lives in an accident. What a beautiful song and how appropriate it was.

Its an awesome song. Along with the theme of heaven another awesome song is "one of these days" by FFH.

I love them all!! FFH, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Sonic Flood, they are all awesome!!! I escpeically like "One of These Days" by FFH and "Life of Praise" by Casting Crowns. However, "I Can Only Imagine" is quite an amazing song. I find it refreshing and it seems to just wash all my cares away, along with other songs by FFH, Casting Crowns, ect.

They just go "WHOSSH!"
