When the Google Vignette ad pops up, I click the "back" button, which takes me back to the page before the popup ad. From there, I proceed to use the CF site as I normally would. The ad server seems to be satisfied, once it's shown me one popup. (Obviously, I don't click anywhere on the ad.) Occasionally, if the back button doesn't work, <escape> will take care of it.

I'm using Safari on a MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina. It might work differently for you if you're on a different platform.

Don't know if this would be helpful or not? I use safari and don't have any issues.
