  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Immediately following the feeding of the 5000 Jesus spoke of Himself as being the True Bread of Life . After that discourse many of His followers followed Him no further than that. What was introduced into the Gospels at that time was the turning from materialism to the Words of eternal Life, as the 12 attested to.
From carnality to spirituality; from those who followed Him for personal gain to those who yearned for substanance that endured. That lasting quality was in the water that Jesus spoke of at the Samatitan well.
He's the Lamb that was slain who ressurected into the Heavenlies, therefore our Passover is into the ressurected life, which isn't of the earthly plain ( since our bodies are still not in ressurection but remain in the material realm)

He is the Heavenly Manna.

"Ye seek Me not because you have seen the signs, but because you ate of the bread and are filled" Jn 6:26

What bread is to the body Jesus is to the soul.

"..to him who overcomes I will give to eat of the Tree of Life. ... I will give of the Hidden Manna" Revelation 2:7,17

In the Holy Ghost of Jesus, we find eternity, salvation: we know this by the words and deeds through which are recorded of Him.
