CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
I am tempted often.

Hey the Bible says if you can't stifle the urge to merge then get married. If you don't have anyone to marry then you're not ready yet. I know there are a lot of debates on the "m" word but in my humble human opinion even that is better than fornication. A lot safer, too. Think of all the diseases floating around out there and how easy it is to get them. Did you know that AIDS can be dormant in a person for 10 years? For 10 years a person could have AIDS and not even know it. If you gave in to every sexual urge, how many people could you have sex with in 10 years? Now think about how many people those people would have had sex with. Dang girl, it's a scary thing. Don't touch it, it bites!
