CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome to the Body of Christ! Hallelujah, there is a new name written down in Glory, and it is yours!
I agree with SharonL to a point. Test everything people post here against Scripture and bounce it off of your accountability partner in your own congregation and or Pastor. There are many committed born-again Christians here, and there are wolves in sheeps' clothing. Pray that GOD will give you the gift of discernment first, and then HIS other ministry gifts to edify the Body of Christ in the ways that HE has chosen for you.

Once a person is born again from the Holy Spirit, he starts to grow spiritually, just as his body grows. It is a life time process, till he passes on the other side.
The longer time you spend next to the fire, the wormer you become. In order to get you whole body warmed up, you need longer time next to the fire. Otherwise, if you spend short time warming, only your skin will get warm.
