I have been thinking about this for a long time, though not in a purely conscious way (if that makes sense).

I have struggled with SI for over two years now, but by God's grace I am walking out the other side of that dark valley. I feel a change in me, a promise that I will make it. I know what it is like to hurt so much that you feel like you are dying.

I have asked God to show me His will for me, and I prayed tonight on a gentle push from the Holy Spirit to show me if this is His will: that I minister to my brothers and sisters who are walking where I have walked. The answer I have heard so far is YES.

I am online almost every night from 4-11PM Eastern, and I will help you if I can. I know I am potentially lifting a heavy load, but I trust that God will give me the strenght and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to do this.

Thank you, AbbyGirlForever...I hope to get to know you better. I am clinically depressed (have been for 6-7 years or so) and have cut for 3 1/2 years. I also have ADHD and have high anxiety--though not to the point of full-blown panic attacks, for which I am thankful.
I'm a senior in high school...so we're pretty close to the same age--pretty cool. My prayers go out to you as you undertake this challenge. May God bless you for this!

Wow... That's awesome... There are so many people who God can reach through you, a willing servant. Praise God for what he has done in your life!
