Milos, wearing a cross is not idolatry. Something is idolatry only if whatever the object happens to be is worshipped. You aren't doing that. The cross pendant is only an emblem of your allegiance.

And while it may be true that the world will hate us, that doesn't mean that we Christians have an obligation to invite that hatred unnecessarily!
