I am having a difficult time contacting someone.

That I wronged and need to ask forgiveness. Will God still forgive me, if I simply can’t get in touch with them?

The Lord is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all your trespasses. You are good with Him. Your friend may be another matter.

Repent sins to God and be forgiven, documentation, Luke chapter 17:4. . Asking forgiveness is right thing to do. God does forgive sins. This person may or not forgive you.
Theirs one person who did forgive me in 2012. I hurt this person back in early 1990s. My eyes watered up on the phone, that he forgave. I truly was sorry for the pain I caused him.
He called me for many years. Now I know why he kept calling up to 2012. I didn't want to confront the issue. I was trying to run away from this.
I learned, you can't run and hide. We can hold our self's accountable or Jesus will do it for us. Peace.

Oh I think so. 1 John 1 v 9 indicates that confession to the Lord is what is needed to be forgiven by Him.

I expect many of us have people whom we have hurt who have gone out of our lives. Or maybe others who have suffered from the effects of our sins whom we never even met. I know its good to apologise but sometimes we can't.

Make sure that you ask the Lord to forgive you and accept that Jesus died for you. Then ask God to give you peace about it, would be my suggestion.
