As my user name states, I am content that I will be celibate for life and don't intend to be in a romantic relationship (never have in my life) with the opposite gender. I have been single this long and don't want to break my commitment I made with God many years ago to stay single and give Him my all.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love that. So much.
Just recently I had a conversation with a friend about this. I had told him that God has told me specifically to pray for my future husband. So, the past few months, I've been praying and I have good friends praying alongside with me on it. But, my focus isn't about getting myself a husband. My focus is Jesus and Jesus alone. God had told me 10 years ago I'd be married and it was confirmed through prophetic words. I have a desire to be married and to serve my husband and God being the center of our marriage. We talked about the calling of celibate as well and how it's a calling.
