CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

But can you evangelise with the intention of dating them later? Can you pray for them that they give their lives to Christ?

I would personally assign someone else who in not personally attracted but has a heart for bring people to the faith to befriend and lead in bible study. WHile I pray..

My suggestions: Pray about it, ask God to walk with you and change your heart for His sake, read His word, keep serving God in your life whether it be in formal ministry or just being loving to the neighbour/workmate or passenger sitting beside you on the bus. Keep your mind and thoughts aligned with God and He will look after you. Trust Him.

He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Age is something for you to think about more. Life stages, personality, interest in each other, etc. But linked in with the range of different compatibilities is the maturity as a Christian.
While she is a mormon, that doesn't mean you stop seeing her as a friend. But you shouldn't be wanting to turn her to Christ with the intentions of dating her. Morally there's nothing wrong, but the intention is not totally focused on God but self. A litmus test for this would be: Are you genuinely wanting her to turn to Christ or are you more interested in dating her and just want to overcome this being "Christian rule"?

age really is nothing, 7 yrs is nothing. it may feel like a lot but if u are happy together its nothing. my friends age gap is 13 yrs but they connect on the same level which is what matters.
as for beliefs go. thats always an issue. and i would always say life is easyer with soem one who u can be open to about your faith.
