I know what you're talking about and, well, I have a weird taste anyway. So, when another mr. wrong comes along, you just have to tell yourself "I can do better". (Not meaning a 'better' person but a better match.)

I think the other person part of it is the hardest. I just went through a normal 2 year high school relationship. She spent 2 years telling me she loved me and stuff and then just cut if off this weekend saying she didnt. The problem is love comes from God; so shouldnt it be unconditional, like his, as my love was for her? Maybe she didnt understand this at the beginning as she wasnt a believer.

When your friends tell you it is not wise to date an unbeliever, and the person discipling you tells you "missionary" dating never works out; it is true. It is hard to change a relationship a year into to a relationship focused on Christ and not each other. It hurts, but pain is just weakness leaving the body. The only good I see out of it is now she is a sister in Christ, and now I can get back on the path God set me on 2 years ago, that I so wrecklessly abandoned. Im glad it is God that will always be there for me.
