• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I almost let go
felt like I just couldn't take life anymore
My problems had me bound
Depression weighed me down
But, GOD held me close
So, I wouldn't let go
GOD's mercy kept me
So I wouldn't let go
Amost gave up
I was right at the edge of a breakthrough but couldn't see it
The devil really had me
BUT JESUS CAME AND GRABBED ME!!!
He held me close
So I wouldn't let go

So, I here today
because GOD kept me
I'm ALIVE today
only because of his grace
GOD< kept me
HE kept me
So I wouldn't let go!!!

Thanks! Do you get the WOW every year? I started in 1997 buying them for my daughter ( man, can she sing gospel! ) She's amazing. She is 20 yrs old now and still only 5 feet tall a little tiny size 1 pants but, the voice is that of a 6 foot woman!!!!She knows that is a gift from GOD. Actually I was catholic and she turned me christain and I was born again!!! You never know???
