History has a progression of events behind it --- so does age (today).
In Genesis 1, age was embedded --- without a history behind it.
The Earth would function just fine without lead in a single zircon.
There's a difference between saying "God made the world 13.7 billion years ago" and "God made a brand new 13.7 billion year old world 6000 years ago".... for the same reason that even God can not make a three-sided square, God can not make a brand new multi-billion year old world.... of course, God could make a brand new world that appeared to be many billions of years old.... if God were a deceiver....Then hows come I'm not justified when I say that whatever the age that the earth was at Creation, that's when God made it? (Which is what I've been asserting all along.)
How about truly creating age? Is that option in your paradigms anywhere? (Don't answer --- I already know).
Heh. For a moment there, I thought you wrote dolomite.Y'know, I'm beginning to wish that the material in question had been dolemite, and not "dalite." Then we could talk about signifying monkeys, which would be very germane in CREVO.

Make up your mind. Three posts back you said the opposite.Absolutely not --- the earth has only been in operation for 6100 years.
Age is an abstract concept. You cannot "imbed" it into something without imbedding history.Yes --- I claim that this planet was created 6100 years ago with 4.5 billions years imbedded in it. So how can I be claiming both?
No, AV, only your niece understands. Why is this so hard for you guys to grasp? Seriously --- even my niece understands.
No, AV, only your niece understands.
No, AV, only your niece understands.
And I'd wager that she only thinks she understands -- or perhaps wants you to think she understands.
How do you know any of this? How do you know exactly what God MEANT to say in the Bible, but didn't say?
But, that's how I went away from christianity. I checked with many different "mechanics" much more learned than I in many different subjects. I found every car to be unsuitable and decided to just walk.
When you have lead in a zircon the only way it could have arrived there is through the radioactive decay of uranium.
... for the same reason that even God can not make a three-sided square, God can not make a brand new multi-billion year old world...

Errr........why would God want to make it seem like the Earth is really older than it is?
Is He just a jokester, or is there a valid reason?
Surely, an omnipotent being could create anything he wanted. Sounds like you're saying that God is constrained by the laws of physics. In my opinion, the reason He did that is because a young earth would not have been able to sustain life; it had to be a mature earth.
Surely, an omnipotent being could create anything he wanted.
Sounds like you're saying that God is constrained by the laws of physics.
If God intended us to exist from the beginning, but a young earth was not capable of sustaining us, then God made a mistake. Either God made a mistake, which you claim he corrected by "aging" the earth, or God didn't intend us to exist from the beginning.Indeed --- He made us to live within the laws He authored.
If God cannot create in such a way that a young earth can sustain life, then it is God who is constrained. No --- we are.
Think about it. If we had been created to live by other laws, we'd certainly look different.
This is why, when the laws of physics are going to revert back, we are going to have glorified bodies.
Our old bodies wouldn't be able to survive under the new laws.
