Here's a hypothetical scenario for you guys.
While out on safari in the wilds of Oklahoma, I come across a brand new species of bird. The noble and majestic Sula Ubera.
(artist's depiction)
If you look carefully you may notice that this bird has a unique feature uncommon amongst other birds. It has a pair of breasts (as well as a blue bikini). The breasts are similar to those found on female primates (the bikini may or may not be found on primates). Being the scientifically minded and adventurous man that I am, I capture the bird, name it, and present it to my local ornithologist/barber, Spivey.

Needless to say, Spivey is stymied. So I take to the Internet to find an explanation for this bird.
This is where you come in. I've gathered the best scientists this discussion forum has to offer, to provide an explanation for why this new bird has breasts. Is there one? Or is this a falsification of our current understanding of common descent?
