Those who value the life of an unborn baby as much (or even more) than the life of the mother carrying it, consider this situation.
1 ) A girl turns 13 years of age, and is brutally raped by a stranger, is held captive for a week (so fertilisation DOES occur) and manages to get away (somehow) and tells her mother. Would it be responsible for the mother to console her, aware of the time it takes for fertilisation to occur, but not take any birth control measures?
If no, then stop and go away.
If yes, continue.
2) The mother isn't aware of, or forgets...
about the possibility that the girl could be pregnant. The girl begins to show physical signs of pregnancy, and the mother gets her an ultrasound, and it is confirmed that she is pregnant. Would it be responsible to arrange an abortion?
3) Should the pregnancy be allowed to take it's course DESPITE whatever the little girl thinks? Which also goes for if she does want the kid as well.
