No, this was priceless.

Glad it blessed you....:)

Another thought came to mind. If someone says there's no need to preach the gospel, even to the non-elect, then we need not pray either (according to this view point) since God already knows everything I will say before a word is on my tongue (Psalm 139). I pray because I love Him and because I love the relationship that Jesus and I share.

We go because we love Him, not because the non-elect will ever hear.
It is the love of Christ that compells us.... 2 Corinthians 5:14

Some would ask: "Why go do anything if God has already determined everything?"
My answer: The same reason Jesus came even though He knew the Father had already determined everything beforehand. Jesus could have said, "Father, I see no reason in going to bear witness to the truth, You've already chosen whom You've chosen. There's no need for Me to pray while I'm on earth because You already know all things."

Jesus came and did what He did because the Love of the Father compelled Him.... It's all about LOVE. If we LOVE, we will do as He asks simply because we fell in love with Jesus and He asks us to!
