Hymn Cover?

Does anyone here know of a hand that does rock covers of hymns?

It seems once in a while an artist will break out and do a cover, but not a CD just for them

Our church does a real neat job with Amazing Grace, Take my life and let it be, etc. I'd post links but they don't allow me to.

Once I eventually record, which may take some time... I would love to do a cover of All People That On Earth Do Dwell, I have written a new chorus and bridge... we sing it now at church...

Bands, bands, bands... I know Jars tend to do a few... Dave Crowder has done three to my knowledge, All Creatures Of Our God and King (Illuminate album), Our Happy Home (off Collision) and Come Thou Fount (off Our Love Is Loud, Passion - this is SPECTACULAR). Chris Tomlin has done a couple (Take My Life and Wonderful Cross)... Matt Redman did a reworking of Nothing But The Blood...

I tell you one I love, is the Brownsville:Songs and Stories album. It has several of their songs, plus three hymns reworked: And Can It Be, Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah (Bread of Heaven) and also Be Thou My Vision... this rendition is absolutely sublime. If you can get your hands on it, it is a super album. If not, I can send it to you... over the net or even mail it...
