Hurricane Hit CSE?

i noticed that www.drdino.com is down and also he wasn't on truth radio. wow, i wonder how bad the damage was of the hurricane? also right by CSE is A Beka Books, which is another pro-creationist group. anyone know any more information on this?

It never even occured to me that he was right on the coast. They probably had to evacuate. I'll remember them in my prayers tonight.

They had to push their Creation Boot Camp to next year because of Ivan.

Hurricane Ivan
Updates from Dr. Hovind Greetings from (what’s left of) Pensacola. Hurricane Ivan hit us harder than anyone thought. The entire town looks just like a hurricane went through as most of you can see on the news. No one on our staff is hurt except me. (15 stitches in the leg). Our main ministry buildings are amazingly fine and no ministry vehicles were even touched! We have water (low pressure but it is wet) and gas but no electricity except one small generator to run the web site and phone system. We have only radio news and spotty cell phone service. They say there will be no city electricity for up to 10 weeks! My son Eric had a huge tree fall into his house (two doors down) and do extensive damage but they were all at our house for the storm.

The ministry provides housing in the neighborhood for many on staff. Several of these homes were slightly damaged and one 5th wheel trailer totally destroyed when a 60 foot pecan tree fell on it. We will try to keep the web site up as much as possible and at least one person on the phones to take orders or donations. Credit card donations are best for us. Orders for our materials will be shipped ASAP. We hope shipping will be near normal by Tuesday but please be patient.

I will be trying to do our daily radio program from 5-6 CST M-F. That will be the only sure time to reach me with questions or comments but the phones are working as much as possible.

Our greatest needs are:

1. Prayers! Thousands in this city are suffering many hardships.
2. Money! With nearly 40 people on staff and no income from any source for several days the needs are great.
3. Volunteers to help the incredible clean up job. There are 3 huge downed trees and limbs by the thousands that need cut up and hauled off. If you can bring your own chain saw, gas and oil that would help even more.
4. Generators! We can use small ones. Several years ago we looked at a huge diesel generator big enough to carry the entire ministry but the $15,000 price tag made us put it on hold. If you would like to donate one or the money to get one that would be an answer to prayer.
5. Keep winning souls! The devil loves to side track us any way possible.

I listened to the radio show today and talked to Jonathan Sampson some via AIM for a bit. Keeping them all in my prayers.
