So, depending on how many are debate weary...get ready.

Believe in a literal Genesis all you like, but only scientific evidence belongs in a science class. Literal Genesis is perfectly valid as a faith based position, therefore it's valid in a faith based class. Until there is scientific evidence of a literal Genesis interpretation, it doesn't belong in a science class.

I understand completely, there is no accounting for conviction. One of the things that has always puzzled me is that there is so seldom an actual argument. I don't really need to be told I'm not that bright, as a matter of fact you don't have to be in order to see the real fallacies with Darwinism.

I'm certainly not that bright, but given the two choices, I think the whole non creation concept is laughably ridiculous.

Brother what do you want from people? I remember being lost, I was pretty much agnostic, this all sounded like riddles to me. When all you have is the natural plane I think the Darwinian worldview is exactly what you should expect. It pagan mythology it doesn't really go back to gods, it invariably goes back to elementals, earth, air, fire and water. I know God has made himself known to everyone who has came into being, which is why they never ask us what God is like. But what do you expect? If all you have ever known is the natural order then of course that will be your worldview.

But that's exactly how it comes across. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't make such a blanket statement as to apply it to theists as well as atheists, just because they don't agree with you about the Bible. That's what it's really always about--the Bible. Not about whether God is author of our existence.

I expect common sense/good ol' logic to raise it's head, on occasion anyway, but seems even that is too much to hope for.

I agree. For theology, God's Word is the thing. For mundane facts about how the material world runs, our own understanding will do.
