CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't drink milk either. Besides, most American milk has growth hormone in it anyway that they inject into the dairy cows. Though it's still "FDA approved" most scientists agree it's a cause of cancer...go figure.

Ummm.. . I guess it is safer to take manufactured calcium supplements than to get it from organic milk or cheeses or yogurt? As a female, calcium is very important to my health. Many of these studies are done on men and do not take into account women give birth and breast feed increasing their need from calcium beyond that which is easily obtained from veggies. One size doesn't fit all!

I am quite serious. When God promised a land flowing with milk and honey, He demonstrated that He takes no issue with either milk or honey. Why, then, does Ellen G. White?

I wish I could join you in your laughter Pythons, but unfortunately we Progressive SDA's have to deal with this sort of absurd nonsense on a daily basis from Traditional Adventism. This is only a sample. It can get worse, believe me.
And yes, they are serious about the whole lot of it.
Thousands and thousands of babies being murdered every year, but boy, you better stay away from that milk. That's a critical issue facing us today for sure.

It doesn't change the fact that milk was served in the bible and promised by God that someone of Jewish decent is anti-milk. So long as what you eat is clean, who really cares.
